We’re a home bakery serving the Decatur and Alvord area with handmade corn tortillas, flour tortillas, and fresh bread.

A Short List, Made Well

Don Randy’s is a home bakery making a small selection of food with care: corn tortillas, flour tortillas, and fresh artisan bread. Tortillas come in packs of 6 or 12. Bread is baked to order with the morning bake.

Good flour or masa, water, salt, and ingredients we trust.

No warehouse mix. No mystery dough.

It Started in San Antonio

Randy Watson spent time working in San Antonio, where his business partner Roman introduced him to real, fresh tortillas — the kind made that morning, still warm, nothing like a bag off a shelf. Randy figured he ought to learn to make them himself.

So he did.

It took practice. Plenty of failed batches. Learning what good masa feels like, how water balance changes the dough, how hot the comal has to be, and how to tell when a tortilla puffs the way it should. That’s the whole story — no invented heritage, just learning the work and caring enough to do it right.

Only high-quality flour and cornmeal are used. Ingredients are sourced from trusted suppliers and kept simple, clean, and honest.

Randy makes the dough, presses the tortillas, and runs the morning bake. If you eat it, he made it.

David

David handles sourcing, organizing supplies, packaging, taking orders, and deliveries.

Together they make sure every batch leaves the kitchen the same day it’s made.

Around Here

We bake near the LBJ Grasslands, on a place we keep as a butterfly way station with pollinator-friendly plants. It’s a quiet corner of Wise County, and it’s part of why this stays small and personal.
